Every service you list is priced by you, and you can change it whenever you like. Nobody hands you a rate.

Pick the days you are open and the hours for each one. Pause your profile when life gets busy and turn it back on after.

Requests come to you and you accept or decline each one. There is no queue you are obliged to work through.
Kingston’s Pet connects independent providers with pet owners. You are not an employee, and bookings and earnings are not guaranteed.
Eight kinds of work, and what each one involves
These are the service types the app promotes today — categories are managed by Kingston's, so the list can grow.
Pet Sitting
You look after a pet while its owner is away — feeding, company and keeping to the routine the pet already knows.
Dog Walking
Scheduled walks, usually on a regular weekly pattern. The shortest jobs to fit around something else you do.
Boarding
The pet stays at your place overnight or longer, so you need the space and the household agreement for it.
Grooming
Washing, clipping, nails and coat work. This is the category where adding a certification tends to matter most.
Horse Care
Feeding, turnout, exercise and stable work — for providers with yard experience and access to horses.
Breeding
Listing a responsible breeding service, with the photos and description pet owners need to judge it.
Pet Products
Sell supplies rather than your time — food, accessories or anything you make, listed with photos and a price.
Buy & Sell Pets
List animals looking for a home and talk to interested owners through the app's messaging.

Download the Kingston's Pet app
Available on the App Store and Google Play. Everything — your profile, your messages and your bookings — runs in the app, so there is no desktop version to set up instead.

Create your provider account
Choose the service provider option, then complete the identity verification steps: you upload a photo ID and a person on our team reviews it, usually within a day or two. They are the only people who see it — pet owners just see a green Verified badge next to your name. If you hold certifications you can add them here too, and those do show on your profile.

Set up your pet service profile
Your profile — called your shop in the app — is what pet owners see. Add a cover photo and at least one gallery photo, the services you offer with a short description of each, your prices, and the days and hours you are available.

Complete payment setup
Connect your bank through Stripe and finish the setup steps it asks for. This one is not optional and it is not last for show: until Stripe confirms your account, you cannot receive booking requests or payments. Once it is done your profile is live and pet owners nearby can find and book you.
You will also take the Service Provider plan in the app to unlock unlimited bookings — the store shows you the price before you confirm anything.

The 13% fee applies to completed transactions, and it is the only thing we take — Stripe’s card processing fee comes out of our 13%, not your 87%, so there is no second deduction on your side. Figures are before tax and before any refunds or payment adjustments. What a service costs is your decision, so what you earn follows from your own prices and how much work you take on.
Payouts start about 48 hours after the job
A booking's payout is generally released around 48 hours after the service is completed. That's when the payout starts moving — not a promise of the day the money lands in your bank.
There's no withdrawal step
Earnings are sent to your linked bank automatically through Stripe. No wallet to drain, no cash-out button to remember.
Payouts speed up as you build a record
The more clean, completed jobs you finish, the faster your payouts are released.
Disputed bookings are held
If a pet owner reports a problem with a booking, that payment is held while our team reviews it. We'd rather say so up front than surprise you.

United States

On language: the Kingston’s app itself is available in English, Spanish and French, so you can run your shop in whichever of the three you read most comfortably. This website is English only for now.
The plan that unlocks unlimited bookings
You take it in the app once your profile is set up. It is bought through the App Store or Google Play, so the store — not this page — is the final word on what it costs where you live.
Your dashboard tracks total sales and today’s, pending and completed orders, and everything about your profile stays editable from your settings in the app.

Before you get started
The things providers ask us most, answered plainly.
Is this employment?+
No. You are an independent provider running your own shop, and Kingston's is the marketplace you run it on — not your employer. Nobody assigns you work, sets your prices or schedules your week. That also means there's no wage, no hours guarantee and no benefits attached to it.
Do I need experience?+
There's no qualification requirement to start. What you do need is a photo ID that passes our review. If you hold certifications and want pet owners to see them, you can add them — they appear on your public profile — but they're optional.
How many bookings will I get?+
We can't promise a number, and we won't pretend otherwise. This is not a fixed wage — you are paid per completed booking and nothing else. How much work comes in depends on how many pet owners are looking near you, what you charge compared with other providers in your area, the days you make yourself available and how complete your profile is. Some weeks will be quiet, and setting up takes a little time before it earns anything.
How do I start earning?+
Become a provider in the app: upload a photo ID for review, set your working days, add your first service with photos and your price, and go live. Then connect Stripe so pet owners can pay you, and take the Service Provider plan.
What does Kingston's charge?+
A 13% platform service fee on completed transactions — you keep 87%. On a $100 service, the fee is $13 and $87 goes to you, before taxes and before any refunds or payment adjustments.
When do I actually get paid?+
Payouts are generally released about 48 hours after the service is completed, and go to your linked bank automatically through Stripe — there's no withdrawal step. That 48 hours is when the payout starts, not a guarantee of when the money arrives. Payouts get faster as you complete more clean jobs.
Who handles my taxes?+
You do. As an independent provider you're responsible for reporting your own income and setting aside whatever you owe. Kingston's takes its 13% fee and sends the rest — nothing is withheld for you.
What's the Service Provider plan?+
It unlocks unlimited service bookings, priority customer support and premium features — and your first year is free, with the premium features included. After that it auto-renews at $33 a year through the App Store or Google Play. Like any store subscription you can cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings, and the store shows the current price before you confirm anything.
Which services can I offer?+
Pet Sitting, Dog Walking, Boarding, Grooming, Horse Care, Breeding, Pet Products, and Buy & Sell Pets. Categories are managed by Kingston's, so the list can grow over time.
Do I set my own rates and schedule?+
Yes. You price every service yourself, choose your working days and hours, accept or reject each booking request, and can pause your shop whenever you need to.
Which countries can I work in?+
The United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Mexico. You link a bank account in the country you are working in and are paid in that country's currency — USD, GBP, CAD or MXN. If you are somewhere else, email contact@kingstonspet.com with your country.
